This is my first blog ever, so here it goes.
First off let me start by telling you a little about me. I am a native from Montana and as recently as last summer, I moved to Minnesota. I am currently living with my boyfriend and so far, I am liking life here...except for the extreme temperature changes.
Now...climate wise...Minnesotan weather isn't too terribly different from Montana. However, I will argue that my hometown in Montana doesn't see the consistently below zero weather that they do here in Minnesota. Another big factor is that in my hometown, there are the mountains and trees to block the really bitter cold.
Now I love my boyfriend dearly and part of that includes me doing the things that he loves to do. He is very much active into the outdoors. He fishes, hunts, camps, hikes and well...you get the picture.
Well since my move here, he has introduced me to the art of ice fishing, something I'd never experienced back home. I like it, but I've found I like it more when I'm actually catching fish. Anytime I go out ice fishing with Jeremy, I freeze like an ice cube. My feet and hands are always the coldest parts of my body. I could be wearing the warmest gloves and the thickest socks and boots and somehow it still doesn't make one bit of difference. I've pretty much come to the conclusion that I must not have that great of circulation. Which doubly stinks. Still it's all apart of living in Minnesota. You betcha!
